I offered some months ago to help arrange/ coordinate a performance driving day at CAT driver training at Milbrook track/ centre.
I have no affiliation with the organisation but am looking to attend myself and those interested can read the many reviews on line or reference on the forum to judge the suitability/relevance/ fun factor.

Any how , after numerous emails with CAT Training ( spaces/ sesnsions go very quickly) Jo has today secured a possible Sunday slot on either Sunday 21 September or Sunday 4 th October -3 places and upto 6 respectively
If you are interested can you post a response and I will see if the sessions can be secured?

Come on you know you want to[;)]

Tony

My error ( doing this on train and reading between screens) CORRECTION 2nd date is Saturday 4 th October
Thanks

Had a PM from one other member so if you are interested price may be for 3 on the day- can you confirm interest?
Thanks

Hilly

Any other takers ?

Confirmed today by CAT that cost is £390 per person inc VAT for 6 participants -

I'm pleased to say that have now got 6 interested for 4th October[:)]-unfortunately had to go outside of the Club to fill last spaces[].

Can you confirm your interest or otherwise ASAP so I can try to finalise details and get deposits issued to CAT.

Any further takers and I will start a reserves list
thanks

Tony, firstly congratulations to filling and indeed organising this event.
However it's only been posted on the forum for less than a week and you had to go elsewhere to fill it? [&:]
Not everyone come to the forum regularly, however I fully understand you don't need the hassle of having places not filled.

Sadly PCGB does tend to move slower than other places [;)] you snooze you lose I guess [:)]

Gary,

This has been discussed on the forum since February, so it shouldn't come as a complete surprise to anybody.

Full marks to Tony for persevering and getting a group together, but if he were relying solely on Club members, it would be unlikely to work at all since there was insufficient support for it last time around.

Regards,

Clive.

The post with the dates announcement was 31/07/14,
However, Yes there has been discussion way prior to this.
I'm really pleased that the event is happening, had I recently not just done Millbrook, then I'd certainly of considered joining in.

I'd be interested in this so please put me on the reserve list in case you have any drop outs.

Thanks.

Yes I will put you first reserve- still tying up details at present with CAT

Garry
The problem I have found is that due to the demand at CAT I can't get a day held in the future on the possibility that I may be able to arrange attendees - when a date comes up it need s quick commitment - I did post on both 997 register and general discussion to widen exposure but it's difficult to get the balance of timing as you know having arranged so much yourself .
As Clive says we did try to get this going in February with some forward projected dates but it came to nothing and it has taken until now and many emails form me to Jo at CAT to get this date.
Best
Tony

Tony, fully understand which is why I'm so pleased you managed to organise and fill it..[:)]

I forgot to mention it was also given a couple of column inches in the June edition of Porsche Post, unfortunately with similar disappointing results. [8|]

Regards,

Clive.

stuart contacted me some weeks ago after you redirected, him as agreed : his enquiry may have come via Porsche Post?

TALAT - can you advise if you wish to take place 6 as you have first refusal (the way the instruction circulates it is preferable to have even numbers aparently) cost £390 inc VAT per person.

thanks

Yes please, I have replied to your email.

Thanks.

I'm looking forward to hearing how it all goes and if interest is revived following your visit, perhaps we can take another look at a group booking for the Register. [:D] CAT seemed very keen to accommodate us last time around. [:)]

Clive
