Hi everyone, have been watching the forum with interest. You have all talked me into a Cayenne s. Laid out the deposit, have got to give the dealer my full list of options next week for my delivery.
What are the must have ? Anything you recomend ?
First time on the forum so be gentle. Looking at the prices of the options it is very easy to add another 10k on top.

thanks for the reply helen
I have just added 4k of extras to my list, I did not realise the tailgate was such a problem. Dare I ask how much the comfort pack is ?
What is the benefit of the air suspension and how are your new wheels?
Did you get them from porsche or techart ?

the tailgate is a right pig to shut without the aid of electronics, cost for the comfort pack is £472+VAT.

air suspension (an option i haven't got) makes the ride a bit softer. but it doesmake the car feel less sporty. air suspension is a must if you plan to go off road.

20" wheel really look the business. very pleased with them.

Don't understand the 20" or bigger wheels unless you want look like a drugs dealer - plenty of grip on 18"s especially with the air suspension set to sport - sorry Helen but it only feels softer on the comfort setting and the loading height setting is v. useful.
Definitely worth skimping on other things for this - but if you want to tow have the towbar fitted - reto fitting is over £800!

And the problem with having a drug dealer look is?......

Heres my list: woudn't be without any of them.

Xenon lights
Comfort pack
Bose
CDC
Sports seats - and soft leather
PASM
18" turbo wheels
Privacy glass (Pentagon Supaglass - smashproof)
Heated seats
Park sensors
Steel bumper front
Steel off road protection sump shield

OK so the list so far is

park assist, privacy glas, bi-xenons, confort pack, air suspension, 19" wheels, wheel centres, servotronic, multi functin steering wheel, sport ali pack, 6 disc changer, bose system, pcm sat nav, roof rails.

This is getting expensive

I could live without the privacy glass and the Bi-Xenon headlights, i thought the multi function steering wheel was standard on the tiptronic/auto models??

come along to Gaydon on 25th July and you can have Porsche driving tauition for £5.

for more details see thread in cayenne forum pages

Helen,
I would have thought so, but porsche hatfield said it was extra?
if it is not, then I can spend it on something else.
Maybe go towards 20" wheels as they seem popular.

Has anyone got the tequipment twin exhaust pipes on their car.
Wondered if it improved the sound at all.
