Celebrity 944

I'm proud to say that I haven't got the faintest idea what you lot are on about. In the circles I moved it was only the girls who listened to that sort of stuff. Real men were far to engrossed with Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy, Rainbow, AC DC and Marillion ....... there must be a link to bring this back on thread there somewhere. [;)]

Well, there's Nick Mason...[:D] He's raced a 956 at Le Mans, but I don't know if he owned a 944...

Well that doesn't really count then does it! It's no good just coming up with the first celebrity you can think of who might have once sat in a Porsche. [:D]

You always need a a fallback band when you can't be bothered with drug (Pinky) or Alcihol (the rest) abused lyrics. Think yourself lucky - my collection is interspersed now with my wife's. I'd like to welcome All Saints and Beyonce to the party!

I didn't realise you were that much older than me, John [:D]

Actually I listened to most of the above also, but Amazon came up trumps with a Spandau Ballet greatest hits track list [;)]

In 1990 I sold a graphite grey '86 C Lux auto which was first owned by Ringo Starr.

Howard Walker (then editor of Motor magazine) had a horrible cream one that he traded-in to Glen Henderson Porsche in Edinburgh for a silver 3.0 SC Targa in 1984.

I hate to say it but Maggie Philbin had a Khalahari gold pre-85 1/2 with black fuchs too.

To continue bringing this thread back in line[:D] the 944 I started on about B180 OUT was Kalahari gold, could I maybe claim to have sat many times on the same seat as Maggie Philbin...scrummy
