Channel 5, Monday 8 pm

Rather than rely on chance why not actually buy and restore a car? The Club would then have an appreciating tangible asset to partner the Robin Hood which could be used in a similar way. Seems a very judicious way to invest members money to me.

This was raised at the AGM (by, I think David Hemmings?) on Sunday to widespread approval. Funnily enough, I raised this informally with some of the Board on Friday night and I think they thought I was joking! I think it is a fabulous idea, particularly whilst the Club is in a sound financial position. Whether I would personally choose a 928 as the Club's next vehicle is a different question though!

I will ensure this is looked into further.

If you mean the guy with the Brummie accent I am not sure but believe it could be Richard Chilton or one of those guys from ClubAutoSport in Birmingham.

Anyone know who the guy ( and his company) was who they collected the parts from, not the seats?

Nice car but I just can't watch that god awful programme. Luckily there seems to be a plethora of other programmes coming along now that don't follow this drivel based americanised format.

Try car SOS , wheeler dealers and last nights offering ' for the love of cars' was very enjoyable.
