Calm down Daro you sound like Michael Winner. It probaBLY was plastic.I think thats standard ,But was'nt it quiet in the cabin?I cant wait for a tin roof boxster with the engine up front and a V6 or 8

I am a Winner dear :ROFLMAO: but the seats were definitely leather and they felt like rubber and looked like sh*t

Sorry my mistake ...Failed to recognise the Cayenne as a Porsche since its uglier than my Mother-in-Law...But we were talking about sporting cars

Got to laugh at the responses...I love a wind up...Guys with their Boxsters calling SLK's Hairdressers/womens cars etc...Pots & Kettles & Green houses come to mind..

I would put them both in the same catagory...make of that what you will...Horses for courses...JUST WAIT FOR THE 55 AMG.

Hi neilansue, the box is a good car but like everything has it's limitations.
I have owned 3 all guards red .Did u buy yours new or used ?might be one of mine.
Try driving a boxy to cannes without earplugs and then try an SLK.I am a porsche enthusiast but have a 32 AMG As well and that is one hell of a car .Honest.

bought it new, and have loved the experience so far. Apologies for the rant, just sort of got into my stride, no hard feelings.

We all love cars/porsches/mercs on the forum, which is why we all have an interest in each others choice of transport.

We have taken it to Scotland a few times, done the east to west coast and boy don't they have some wonderful roads up there!!!

Anyway, i'll finish by saying horses for courses, thank god we are all different!!!

Cheers, Neil.

Do AMG have any corners on their test track or do they just run the development car against the nearest Eurofighter at Stuttgart Airport? If the car out runs the plane, they sign it off, if it doesn't, they go off and tweak the engine to produce a few hundred more bhp and lb/ft until it does.

AMG's are fabulous cars - just not as driver focussed as a Porker from what everyone says.

All A M G's go around corners beautifully. It is the magazine testers who can't drive them properly.Ban the Stig.!!!!

Pity you did'nt leave it in Scotland and drench all their roads in oil from your RMS.
Think of us poor bikers with all your oil leaks![:-][:-][:-][:-][8|]
