Christmas presents....

.... for your car!

I must admit I nicked Andys idea from the 924 forum, but I like it! [:D]

Lets see what Santa brings you car for Chistmas.

Mine got a pair of new rear boots finally today. £350 later.... [] And they aren't even shiny! [:(]

On a plus point though I did order a pair of adjustable camber plates from Andrew this morning. Don't tell the car though, I want it to be a surprise! [;)] There may even be more later in the week! (although my parents seem to think that buying stuff for the mini is a bit more reasonably priced!) [8|]

Mines getting a set of clear front indicators.

My mother in law wanted to get me the Porsche Jacket and hat etc, a la Joey from friends!

Classic![FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]My car got a pair of harnesses (that I can't use until I get a harness bar of some sort) and some bigger rear brake calipers. My other car may well get a TV tuner and bluetooth kit.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

I think a strut brace and some clear indicators could well be under the Christmas tree on Sunday morning

I'm really spoiling mine this year.

Because it will be too stiff for the roofless shell and make the car shudder - just like my 18's did with standard S2 suspension only probably worse.

Oh well, its a bit late as its already fitted but I'll let you know how it goes on Wednesday (assuming I'm not still shaking[8|])

[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Ah. In that case I'm sure it will be fine...[&:][FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Actually if the M030 is set to soft it probably won't be hugely stiffer than the original Turbo cab suspension. I do remember Ray Northway saying to me that my 18's would be too much for a cab and that Turbo cabs are already too stiff for the shell. I didn't believe him for a long time even after running mine on 18's, but when I went back to 16's I realised how right he was. The problem I found most noticeable cornering on broken surfaces; the car feels OK but I found it was impossible to hit the intended apex.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

I have actually gone to the lengths of wrapping up the old exhaust and putting it under the tree.

How about that for festive!

Well i've had the chip and 3 bar FPR to complete my stage 2 upgrade on my 'to buy' list for some months now but so far something has cropped up to scupper me from taking the plunge like overspending on on holiday and new timing belts! With it being a quieter Christmas than usual it might be a New Years gift for the old girl!

Still waiting for my man down at the local breakers to finish refurbing the full M030 kit he's given me 1st refusal on. Beginning to wonder if i'll ever see it now!

I was going to say that Beaky was getting nothing, and should be grateful for that. But then I remembered that he has some nice new fog lights hidden away in the shed and a replacement front PU ready for when I get around to getting it sprayed.

And his new house is still moving forward, though I don't think he will get to enjoy it before Christmas.

mine needs a new windscreen and the paint around it re-done but after having to have the engine re-built earlier this year im afraid its no longer high on my priority list. [&o]

so i've bought new inspection lights and some tools for my garage which i expect the 44 with get to play with too [:)]
