Classic Cars Live!

Well, Charles is the closest timewise, but are you going to trek down from Scotland for this?

Otherwise ticket goes to Mr Tims!!

Oh, 19 minutes 57 seconds........

I reckon I could have shaved a bit off if these bl00dy bikers didn't keep wanting to get past, but they all waved when I indicated right [:D]

Well, I did get 85 out of it, at Brunters, with Cup Car on trailer....[;)] Then I ran out of runway....[]

I owe it to the turbo!! Overtaking normally aspirated cars up Alpine passes a speciality!!

BTW, how high above sea level is the 'ring??

Difficult to make out - but this is on Ben Lovejoy's site (www.nurburgring.org)

So, highest point about 620 metres / 2000'. The turbo seems to come into it's own about 6000', so I can't blame that!!

Flip side is, booger all engine braking for the downhill bits!!! And what goes up......

Mel

I'm not going to be able to go, so if Charles doesn't want the tickets whoever out of TC, Vic, Kevin etc. can make it are are welcome as far as I'm concerned.

Just back from the airport. I am down twice a week and the thought of missing out on my golf at Gleneagles for yet another flight to the south does not sound too good.

Thanks for the kind offer though Melv! Who is next on the list?

Charles
