Hi all

Just a reminder to you all that the Vintage and Classic at Stony Stratford is on Wednesday 1st January 2014.
Always a fantastic turnout of true classic vehicles of all denominations... go to this and you are always guaranteed to learn something about the way vehicles have been constructed and used over the years - even if you think you've seen it all... you haven't.
All ages of vehicles and people are catered for, come rain, cold or shine (or all of these!). Get your Porsches along there and show them we mean business...[;)]
A nice friendly gathering to start the year off. Not just the really old cars - everything up to today's "˜classics' too.

See: http://www.vintagestony.co.uk/

[:D]

I'll be there Paul!

Hope we get a good turnout from R10.

Anyone else planning to go please post on the Forum and we can arrange to meet up.

Cheers,

Ravi

Hooray - there is life on the forum!
See you there Ravi - anyone else wanna come?[8D]

I'm actually thinking of going along to this..
I did Brooklands last year, so looking for a change [:)]

Will be good to see you there too, Gary.
That makes 5, as Manjit will be joining us too[;)]...

Its a great event, the charity bookshop opposite the pedestrian entrance put all their motoring books in the window and they have some real bargains, and there is a great little coffee shop just down the road as well as the refreshments available at the event itself.

Will be there as usual and look forward to catching up with old friends.

Then there were 6

What time are you guys planning to arrive?
Also, I'm not exactly arriving in a classic, so is it public car park for me? [:(] looking at the pictures a lot look to be vintage or is that the new area they are on about..?

I'll be arriving on my bike as usual ( in lycra tell Jo)[:)]
Good policy to pedal off the excesses of the previous night!!
Happy New Year to all.
Regards, Mike

Hi everyone,

Happy New Year!!!

I'm sorry I didn't meet up with you all at the show this morning. I had my car blocked in by my eldest lad's car - he'd gone partying taking his keys with him :-(

I did eventually get that just after 12 p.m. Really worth it even with all the wind and rain to see an 1896 Leon Bollee three wheeler started (eventually :) and run by it's obviously very dedicated owner AND the surprisingly spritely get away of an old Bugatti - no I knew where the Veyron's DNA comes from !!!

I'll post links to the videos for anyone who's interested.

Cheer,

Ravi

Sorry, I didn't go [:(] way too wet here for the drive down, the thought of standing around in the howling wind and rain just didn't appeal to me or the Mrs this morning [&:]
