Cleaning the ICV in Situ or tips for removing?

No coolant loss. Lambda sensor is about 2 years old. On initial start up once cold start is off it idles mid to high 12's. Once been driving for a bit it idles low 12's. As I said AFR's all good on throttle. ICV seems to be working and lambda seems to be ok. Certainly it calibrates and shows 14.7 with engine off and shows expected readings on throttle. Assuming ICV and lambda sensor functioning ok where should I look next? As already said no vac leaks and no reason to suspect any gasket issues of any kind. Kinda stuck!

Try standard chips.

I don't have any! 944Scott is running same chips and his idles high 13's. Maybe a remap from Wayne Schofield is the way to go or I suppose just live with it as long as it's ok for MOT which I think it will be. Would be more concerned if their were issues on throttle, which there isn't. I suppose it's just a slight annoyance and a slight puzzler. A custom map would sort that out but I suppose it's not the end of the world.

Anyway it would seem I don't need to worry about cleaning or removing the ICV!

I would be worried running too rich on part loads.

Does the AFR goes to 20 on throttle lift off after the engine has warmed up?

It's only on idle. If i tickle the throttle at all the AFR lifts into the 13's/14's as soon as it comes off idle. Lifting off throttle everything behaves normally, gauge goes off chart then settles back into idle mode. There is nothing to suggest anything is amiss except idling a bit rich. Plugs all look spot on and suggest perfectly normal running.
