cleaning / waterproofing the soft top

Thanks, looking at it critically, it does not have white marks, or any mould etc. It just does not look as good as the rest of the car.

Will give it a good clean and have a go with the Fabsil option. Have also seen some of the negative stories about Renovo, a product which I'm sure is brilliant, but as my roof at this stage does not need such a extreme make over and I have never used it before, might wait till it really really needs it before I have a go!

Renovo dye reviver needs to be put on in a garage preferably to a perfectly clean roof and you have to be quick but carefully apply it can splash.
Only did one roof with this it looked a lot better but I found the material hardened, in the end replaced the hood no substitute for renewing a tired roof if the bodywork is immaculate.
Maybe give it a good clean and fabsil gold first of all.

Hi
I just bought a boxster and have been reading the thread with interest. Just about to order Fabasil but wanted to check if 1L was enough ?
Thanks

Yes, should be ample. I did two coats initially, last year, then topped it up recently with one more, and still have some left and pretty sure that was the 1L tin

I've used both FABSIL AND FABSIL GOLD.

By far and away the best product is Fabsil GOLD.
