We are currently in the planning stages for this years first big run of the season and looking to gauge interest. We will be meeting further South this year at Cross Lanes Organic Farm, Cross Lanes, Barnard Castle, County Durham, DL12 9SL, then on to visit the Wensleydale Cheese factory, Gayle Lane, Hawes, Wensleydale DL8 3RN.
On arrival we have been invited to take part in a one hour factory tour priced at £2.95pp if enough interest, prior to a carvery lunch priced at £10.95pp. We have scheduled lunch for around 1.30pm and places for the main restaurant will need to be prebooked, alternatively you can also eat in the cafe. En route we will be taking in some breathtaking scenery and driving roads including Buttertubs Pass, this great road takes us to the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and is rated by Jeremy Clarkson as "England’s only truly spectacular road”
Cross Lanes are opening for us exclusively from 9am, we plan to set off on the run at 10.30am

Hi Greg & Deb

Once again, you can put our names down for this run, visit to cheese factory and carvery lunch.
Looking forward to the first outing of the year!!

We'll be there, can't wait.

Don't think I'll be doing the cheese tour, the stuff smells like S*it and should be banned. I imagine Wendy will want to do it though:)

How can you eat something that smells like it's just come out of a dogs mouth or other parts I won't mention. The Devils work[:)].
