Clear Away the Cobwebs 02/04/2017

Greg & Deb
May have a great alternate meeting point on A66 instead of Mainsgill - its The Cross Lanes Farm cafe. This place is a further 5 miles west along from Mainsgill and is just before the turn off for "The Stang" - the fab road I presume we'll be heading over to get to Hawes. Karen and I had lunch their yesterday and was superb, I've spoken with one of the owners,Deb and she said she would love to have us all to meet here - They don't normally open until 10am on a Sunday but she said she would open earlier exclusively for us if we requested (say from 9am - 10am). Big advantage is having the place all for R3 - Mainsgill opens early and is usually brisk early on so may have to wait a while for service. Have a look at the web site and see what you think.

Re: start up point for Cobwebs 2nd April. The CROSS LANES CAFE - A66. Since our club night I've now firmed up with one of the owners (Deb) our exclusive slot for Sunday morning.
The cafe will be open exclusively for PCGB R3 from 9am - 10am - opens to public from 10am thereafter.
They will cater for all manor of Breakfast items - Hot butties, coffee, tea - full English if desired. I've informed Deb that cars will start to arrive from 9am and up to 10am, also that we should have c 40 cars. They'll give us a reet good welcome!
