I look forward to seeing all the Porsches at Wings and Wheels on Sunday, as yet we still don't have 50 cars, still a few to go. for those waiting for the weather, it is dry, light cloud, 15-20 degrees, light Westerley wind 10knots. I am expecting somewhere in the region of 300+ cars, Bikes, Scooters and military vehicles. We also have some weapon demonstrations, re-enactors and a flying display from WW1 aircraft. If anyone has any friends with interesting vehicles, ask them if they would like to attend. If this is a success, i may look at doing a Porsches on the prom for next year as a national event, we should be able to get 1000 porsches in the Arena. If you need details, please contact me! A big thankyou to all who attended Wings & Wheels in Cleethorpes. A bit windy but the rain never arrived! Fabulous turnout from R4 and our guests from R24 and TIPEC. Compliments have been passed on to me from the Arena manager who said that the members were a credit to Porsche and the club, so friendly and great PR ambassadors. He would welcome us all back for another event, so who's up for Porsches in the Park on the Prom! Sorry I didn't get much time to socialise during the event, I'm sure you are aware what I was up against as show event manager. Gavin
 
Hi Gavin, We made the most of our day, despite the windy conditions...... Thanks for the links of places to stay, Royal Humber was very good value for money & excellent food. Rgds Paul & Kass
 
On behalf of myself as your RO & Gavin Marshall ARO plus his other position of being the event director for the whole event, a sincere thank you for an excellent attendance & display a credit to the Porsche brand.
