^$%^%! Clock

ORIGINAL: Fen
Notice I gave you the benefit of the doubt an decided you weren't just rubbing it in that you still have a clock....[;)][:)][:D]

Cheers Fen [;)] I wasn't have a go, honest

I think I'll try the glove box route as it sound the less tricky of the two, cheers Paul

How easy is it to change the bulb as mine is lovely and dark and impossible to see once the sun goes in [:(]

I have the exact opposite problem. I can see the clock at night but not during the day as I get reflected light from the passenger window.

Well, I got the bulb out, popped along and bought another but now it's chucking it down so it can wait. BTW £3.20 for 4 at the local motor factors (the ciggy lighter one's gone as well so grabbed some spares)

Would this be an opportune moement to tell you there is also a bulb in the ashtray, behind the headlamp switch and at the top of the slider for the central fesh air vent. These are the common bulb failures that are left on many 944's [8D]

I just got the one for the clock at the same time as getting the rear view mirror. £1.80+VAT

I trust you got the correct wattage as you don't want to suffer "Melt Down"

IIRC they are strange, and very minimal, wattage generaly meaning you have to get them from your OPC and then at much inflated Porsche prices.

Yeah the guy was able to match them - 12v, 1.2w

I may be wrong, but I seem to recall that the light switch and vent slider should be .6 watts. As I say, they are not easy to get hold of, so it could be that the previous owner oppted for the Halfords alternative.
