Closing 997 section to members only ?

ORIGINAL: garyw

...

As Rob has said, it has been decided to indeed leave it open for the foreseeable future with the option of a members only section within the forum area.
Mainly for details that perhaps are of interest and benefit to "members", like the lowdown and information gained from the PC Reading visit...

Tried, tested and works in the 996 sub-forum but we can pretend this idea came as a result of this exercise [;)]... I think plans like this (i.e. closing sub-forums down to members) should be implemented and decided at register level and not individual register sub-forums level to give some consistency to the forum, don't you think? [8|]

I'd like to think that we've asked the users of the forum what their preferences are rather than just implementing it...[8|]

If it follows a tried and tested idea then all well and good.
As to who's the first, fastest and bravest, that another area of the general forum...:ROFLMAO:

My vote is for democracy everytime! [8D]

Democracy at a global level of course, as at local level it just, allegedly, gives you the right to start war on everyone else... lol :ROFLMAO:[:D]:ROFLMAO:
