Just got my CoA in the post today, lovely certificate signed by Andy Goss himself ,thank you very much! [:)]
I've already heard some people nicely surprised by their findings (one of which has certainly added thousands to their car!)

I've found out my car came with yellow seat belts to match the calipers, but now have black ones. I may call the previous owner and ask him if he knows where they are, might be nice to have them back on.

So have any of the 30+ of you who asked me for the forms been delivered any nice surprises?

Yep, mine didn't have it's lovely leather seats originally. Also, it was a Porsche press fleet car. Whether that's a good or bad thing I don't know, but I can't change it so I'll just consider it a good thing. [&:]

Got mine this morning. No real surprises, but nice to have the build date. Interesting that one of the options was a 4 spoke wheel with airbag. I wonder what the default was - a tiller?
Still, just sold the car, so the Certificate goes with it in the history file.
Do you know if the free offer of CoA is still on? I'll get one for the new car if so.

Regards
Jon

Just sent mine off Rod, I'd love yellow belts on mine to match the calipers but can't justify the retro fit cost[:(]

I didn't notice any deadline on the offer so I assume it's still on.

I agree Ashley, would be nice to break up the black interior, do you know how much they are to retrofit?

Mine went in the post tonight. I'll let you know if anything interesting comes up when i get the CoA

Thanks Andy, as comprhensive an answer as I'm ever likely to get!
So around £348 not fitted....how many hours book time?

Glad you posted this - completely forgot to send mine off; will do so this afternoon and if there are any surprises will let you know.

BTW I too would love the yellow belts but £500 seems a lot of cash.

I got mine last week. The only thing that I wasn't expecting was that the paint code was shown as X1X1, which I thought was a mistake, until I found it in an American 996 order guide.

I got the same kind of thing Richard, my paint code came up as Z4Z4 (Basalt Black Metallic) thought it should have been L9CZ, so that's why I guess.

I also got for the 'Interior Material/Colours' Section 'GT3 Black Leather Interior' Why the need for the GT3, black is black surely, it's not a black that's specific to GT3s?

don't worry Chris i sent mine off about 3 weeks ago and it hasn't arrived yet either. Maybe they've been inundated!

I know Andy Goss was waiting to sign them off in batches, the first batch of 300 went out at the start of the month, he may be waiting for the next 300 before he signs them all off.

GT3 Black is exclusive to the GT3, and is a completely different shade of black to the standard 996. It is MUCH darker than the special order Turbo Black I have in mine. GT3RS Black is probably the most unusual Black you can get, which is a couple of shades darker than the dark GT3 Black you have. Personally, I prefer a lighter black, as it shows the dirt less.

Don't be fooled into thinking the darker greys are light blacks either. It's a mistake a lot of people make!

[:D] Damn I got the cheapest most worthless black on the market and it's now on the certificate! It's gonna be tears come resales [8D]
