i have sent a pm to the owner and hope they can clear this mystery up,,,,,,,

ok i found the car ,,its on e bay under classic 944s,,,

its the Porche press car,,a 1990 and in cobolt blue for ÂŁ11.995,,,,

just to confirm the car in question is Baltic blue ,,my fault is just looked like cobalt and not as dark as olis baltic blue s2,,,

looks a stunner in baltic blue ,,,,,,

Nice looking car, but your getting close to 968 money there - ÂŁ12k for a Japanese import tip coupe (aircon!), ÂŁ13250 for a Sport (Ebay).

you have got to admit that turkish blue is thr nicest blue and the rarist colour it always attracts people at the car shows

Some of the blues Jason - IMHO! I think anything deeper than Maritime is too dark, Horizon is too light, and of course my personal favourite is Tahoe (me biased, not at all!!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:). I wanted a GR cab (after 2 GR 944's and a GR 968 coupe!!) but could not find a decent one - in fact I only found 1, it was on 18's and drove like a dog. The Tahoe is rare as - I've never seen another other than a photo of a Tahoe 944S2 coupe - and always gets compliments about the colour, even from other FE owners!

I have been offered another s2 from the same person/ trader who sold the Turkish blue car but I think it might be that chap from Buchanan cars up in the west coast of Scotland?,, now under a different name,,the car offered sounded nice but if it's the " turd polisher" from a few years ago then it's a non- starter,,,,,

My apologies if I have mixed the two traders up ,,,,,,,s

I've never heard a criticism of them other than that they make a profit - not a bad thing to do as a trader! If the car and the price are right, then you get a warranty as well. Seems fine to me, but I know people don't like car dealers but the choice is there.

Paul, I have to go by the comments I get, not heresay or spiteful remarks. The list of suppliers in the faqs are based on personal experience, combined with the balance of reports I get. No business is perfect, but you soon get a feeling for a company who are constantly bad and they aren't listed. I've personally had nothing but good dealings with Mark, and only heard good things from people who've actually dealt with him. If others have had problems then PM me, the same as with any other trader. [:)]

Well Paul, I posted a single smiley. How that constitutes "heresay or spiteful remarks" I'm not sure.

I didnt day you did, Paul. I mean that's been the sort of comments that have been the only negative I've seen in recent years.

There were issues ages ago but I thought that was all cleared up.
