Hi everyone. I'm currently running an Audi RS4 in Sprint Blue and I'm specing my 997 TT. I'm really keen to go for a colour other tha silver. I know they look great but I live near central London and every other 997 is a company car...and silver! Are there any real no no's and any colour combo suggestions? What does the blue leather look like in the flesh? Would it me too much with a blue exterior? Thanks Geoff

I live near central London and all the P-cars around here are privately owned and either black, atlas or meteor grey. Not a silver one to be seen! [

IF I was starting again, I wought consider rthe dual grey / black interior. It looks very smart.
Personally, the blue interior does not work for me.

MY 996 TT S is 2.5years old and is Azzuro California Blue, Maserati blue leather bottom half and Metropole blue top half. If you are interested I will send some pictures. Before you ask I went to the factory twice to pick the colours ! then collected the car when it was ready, done 70,000 miles so far, PERFECT !!!

The pale blue car is gorgeous - i'm sure it's Fountain Blue. When I collected my 997T last year it was in the display collection in the handover bay - sounds like similar colour combo as Colins with Maserati Blue leather. It was my first choice of colour with an alternative of the Azzuro California, but at the time Porsche told me it would delay the car by at least 4 months, possibly 6. The sales guys put me off as I think it's more hassle for them! Not sure what the lead time is like now though?
Do go to the factory to collect the car though - its an excellent trip.

Boys and girls I think we have our colours mixed up. The fountain blue looks in the picture like Azzuro California. Anyway the attached pictures are my car which is Azzuro California !!!

Wow Colin - certainly looks the business! Bet you won't see many of those around!
The Fountain Blue is a lot lighter - more like the current MercBenz Lazurite Blue.
The Boxster shown on the Porsche Tech-equipment section is meant to be Azzuro - but looks darker again?
Confusing hey! Now 'waltong' - get your order in!

Cobalt blue as used on the 964 is pretty awesome IMO.
