I've just noticed this on my 2010 997 and sent a photo through to Guildford OPC for them to comment on. Its only one of my rear lights but its very noticeable and I've only had the car since December which I purchased from Reading. Will let you know what Guildford's response is...

Condensation in rear light clusters

Hi
I got this response from them today:
The rear light clusters will induce condensation as they are not sealed units. As we have to gain access to replace bulbs they will allow moisture to build up which is normal and should clear as the car is driven or with the lights on. If the moisture pools into water in the bottom of the lamp then we would look at this as it should clear.
I'm not that happy though as from when I first noticed it, just in one light, its been there ever since.
Do let me know if you get yours replaced and how bad it was. Mine is noticeable but isn't pooling.
Thank you
Dominique

Same result for myself - OPC will only replace if pooling water not condensation - it was suggested that as the units are a) not sealed and b) the LED emit low heat that this is common.
So rather unsuccessful however OPC confirmed that if water pools in future they will replace and this would be covered under extended warranty not just initial manufacturers warranty . So I'll settle for this - life's too short!

Just pop them out, they dry out in a tick... Especially in this recent heat wave []
Open the engine lid, Think it's only one screw to take the entire light unit out, unclip the wiring socket... Then it's a few small screws to take the grey plastic back off the unit... Mine dried almost instantly in the house. My car prior to buying had been sat outside Porsche centre Edinburgh in the snow so expect it's just climate and the fact LED's give no heat off to dry out.

I had to start removing mine and letting the water drain out. The indicators had started to fail and one of the brake lights went off during use too. Guildford have just replaced them both.
Mine had a gap between the clear section and the rest of the housing. You could see the water dripping out.
