CONGRATULATIONS

Oh I don't know! With the front door fully open, and being carefull with the gearknob and steering wheel; My first car,an Austin A30 4 door has a lot to answer for, particularly when the village bobby tapped on the driver's window one night![:)]

Gentlemen, how does a sensible post on the forum,, end up with the previous replies,,,,, []

WELL DONE REGION 18 FOR ALL THE HARD WORK OVER THE LAST FIVE YEARS ........... and long may it continue[:)]

Because it is Region 18 Barry. We are even the best at taking the rip out of each other and having a laugh.

Cheers,

careful fred...he's a director now you know...we could end up disbarred or defrocked or worse still....sent to tipec! [:D][;)]

I was chatting to Dean on the phone last night and we were congratulating Barry on winning us region of the year within such a short space of becoming Regional Director. We hoped he didn't have to do anything too unpleasant on behalf of us all!

First things first, well done region 18. Great work by so few, enjoyed by so many, thank you.

Sorry to say nothing to do with me it was worked for, and the selection was done by the regional director and the old Board,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Just a reminder to the lawyer to check all the facts before a court case,[8|] the clue is at the bottom of the page .

Rob,I did, like how to get it upto 80mph;-twin SU's,polished head, straight thru' exhaust exiting under the passenger door,Easi-bleed brake nipples for fine brake "tuning" on rallies and driving tests A for Austin picked out in red paint on the hubcaps, also the sideflash.
My enthusiasm for cars & driving started with this car but the brakes? I ended up with a Ford Popular cable brake adjuster on the rear single brake cable which enables one to have some sort of brake balance twixt front & rear brakes.[8|]
As for the "reprimand" from Herr Director Barry,He'll settle down.

Peter,I learnt to drive in a Renault Dauphine-that was fun in the wet & on ice."Mon dieu"
