Connecting battery conditioners

I just click the bonnet catch down by hand. That way the bonnet can stay ajar and the light is out.

One final point.

Remember to Disconnect your charger before driving off !

I have another car with the Battery under the floor in the Boot and I drove out of the Garage trailing the charger and extension lead behind me [&:]

I use an airflow conditioner and have been in the habit of simply locking the bonnet catch by hand but leaving the bonnet up (supported) that way the lights are not on and the car cannot be driven away accidently. Unlock the bonnet before trying to put in back down and remove charger leads. Job done.

thanks

so far it has worked ok with bonnet down and remembered to unplug before driving off!!

must say it was brilliant firing up instantly!!

I have been using a cetek charger plugged into the fag lighter on the dash for the last 5 years with no trouble at all , my fag lighter is live without the ignition turned on (and has not been modded to my knowledge)my car is a '96 cab, don't know if this makes a difference.
