cooper-s supercharger on 944

Im going to stand by my original thoughts Jim, but happily concede that my 6psi-8psi expectation was very inaccurate. The reason that I still think it may work is that a number retro-fit Eunos Roadster/MX-5 kits only managed about 4.5psi from memory. Still, part-rev (if there is such a Turbo part-throttle equivalent) boost isnt going to be fantastic, is it? Im going to do a U-turn now because the Kompressor wont be a deal more expensive and itll definitely work better: I think thats what Id go with.....

As Im clearly undecided I will read the article with interest. [:D]

Not sure what you are getting at but it is all about the capacity of both engine & blower. The bigger the engine, the bigger needs to be the blower. A Eunos is max 1800cc so will be fine with a 45 Cu in blower, no way is a 2.5, 2.7 or 3 litre engine going to work with the same blower. Sizing blowers is all about full throttle, part throttle will then take care of itself.
I have a shiny M62 with bypass manifold here if you wish to make an offer, could be yours shipped in the UK (it is quite a lump) for 200quid.
