Cotswolds Rally

ORIGINAL: John Sims

(once we'd stopped getting lost) ...

I'm glad we weren't the only ones. I'm sure they put in duff instructions just to make it more "interesting". We gave up in the end and programmed the sat nav.

One of the instructions early in the stage had an arrow pointing left, but the text said turn right! Still, I think we saw every village in the Cotswolds - which was nice. I even managed to drive into the beer garden of a pub. [] Well it looked like a car park ...

Seems like you're in need of re-programming your navigator! :ROFLMAO:

Spose I'm in for it now! [] .....or do I take her silence on the forum as a positive..........you know sort of keep it between friends ?!

(sorry if I didn't recognise anyone - I have a dreadful memory for names & faces).

Carl, that is why we Essex members buy the Polo shirt with our names imprinted! It saves a lot of awkwardness. Please see me at the BBQ, or if unable to attend our next meeting. I assure you everything is done at cost.

Martyn, is it possible to order in advance of the meeting? How much do they cost and how long is the wait?

Look forward to seeing you at the barbeque. With regard to the polo shirts, they are navy blue or black and in sizes small, medium, large, XL, XXL. Cost for short-sleeve is £18.50 (which has been the most popular), or long-sleeve £22.50. Embroidered names are an extra £3.50. We also have a fleece at £27 and baseball caps at £10.50.

Since everything is bought to special order, I request a cheque for the cost of the article(s).

The manufacture time is two - three weeks.

Since I will not be able to get anything made before the barbeque, I suggest that you seek me out at that time and, hopefully, I will be able to batch a few orders together.

I look forward to seeing you and admiring your new pride and joy.
