Creaking from around windscreen

tried the fix on monday evening, left it til this morning (weds) and drove the car 20miles to work, hey presto no squeak! Many thanks

its a liquid wax used as recommended by Paul Ebbs (thanks Paul!). Note, when you go into Halfords there are loads of similar products which may do just a good a job. Thought this being a liquid wax that dries over time would be a good bet. Also, having wax laid in the void under the seal can't be a bad thing!

I think I need to put a little bit more in mine, now, particularly in the rear screen corners.[:)] Nice when something works like that isn't it?

Mine still has the original screen .. as a '97 there is tape on the edges, and no squeaks ! ... touch wood, of course ! .. [;)][:)][8D][:D]

Mine had to be taken out to cure the dreaded window surround rust about six years ago and has never been the same since, despite the work being carried out by a Porsche Approved bodyshop [&o]. I hope you manage to keep it that way Maurice.
