Just a quick test for Richard - as above, copy the "Direct" link from photobucket and paste that into the "Image URL" box on this site. The reason the other one doesn't work is that it is a link back to the whole photobucket webpage (link ends in .html) rather than the picture itself (link ends in .jpg)

Thanks guys. Now for the travel-stained pics as promised. You've seen the one above.

c hes bought some new gear ...certainly beats the brightest white track suit u can buy or was it washed in Cillat Bang ???

Ok 7 more sleeps until Croft
Forecast looks good, dry but cloudy
Went to BTTC last weekend to see Porsche 991 Cup cars doing sub 50 laps, very impressive.
So...
Who's all going?
List please

If the weather looks good on thursday then I'll be there......can't be bothered if its looking at all damp, don't want to use up my wets before the 'ring...

Just checked the Met Office forecast and it's showing cloudy with steady wind all day, apart from rain at 1000 - precipitation probability at 10%! If it does rain the wind should dry the track fairly quickly I suppose. Any other ditherers reckon it's worth the trip? Don H? And is the early bird price still on offer?

Weather a bit changeable but generally looking dry - so unless it changes significantly I intend to go. I think Stevie is also planning to go. No early-bird price any more, but its only ÂŁ10 more expensive at ÂŁ189. Under 25 cars booked so plenty of spaces left.

I think Michael has already booked also.

I have booked accommodation that can be cancelled up till Friday , still holding off booking until a bit surer that it will be dry as my tyres wont cope with a wet track , others going I know of are Alan L , Don H and Robin M so numbers are getting better .

Looking wet initially but quite good from late morning. Booked - see you all there.

Great day
Got more laps than my last time there...
Should be a nice pic of 4 gen of Gt3 on the lawn, ( post please )
Big variety of cars including a Radical with a mystery driver, who is not used to doing a whole lot of laps on a track day.
Neck and shoulders hurt so must have been pushing on..
Mikw

Was a great day, I can't believe my car still scares me so much. No mishaps by anyone, thankfully and Gordon gave me some tuition? So I've learned to swear a lot more and not let anyone past :)
Only joking Gordon, much appreciated. Look forward to Oulton before the end of the year?

"Gordon gave me some tuition? So I've learned to swear a lot more and not let anyone past :)"
Now that's funny, but factually correct I suspect. The joy of the English language is that a question mark can be so incisive....
What was it like in the Radical Gordon?

Oh Donald
Here is the tech spec re Pilot Cup2 tyres, its from Michelin themselves so not just some of my bro' science that I sometimes fabricate !!, go down the page and click on Conditions of Use tab.
http://www.michelin.co.uk/tyres/michelin-pilot-sport-cup-2#tab-tyres-benefits

might make your car less scary running the tyres at the correct track pressures, ie not the front at the critical low press ( 29) and not the back at 3psi over the max recommended track pressure.

Radical is mind blowing in corners !!!! totally nuts ..but uve got to be brave... not for the faint hearted ... and press on or it doesn't have downforce for the amazing grip levels ... only drawback .. its not got .. is the grunt of a cup car [8D][8D] ... but the Radicals got fantastic air con system[:D] now cant wait till our wee trip to the RING at end sept ... be great to go out in Cup Car /620r /Radical SR3 RS think its going to be a magic trip ..nice to see the OLD STEVIE back in his groove
