Croft Trackday

Croft is a good track , touring cars use it .It is well surfaced and a mix of fast and tight sections
A few days later another open trackday at about half the price -quiet one.
If you are a novice , like I was last year when I went , it is worth getting some instruction if available , to get the right lines at the start makes it much more fun as you learn through the day what the car is capable of.

Nick

Looks like there's a risk of it being cancelled unless more bookings arrive soon - http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=779347&mpage=1&key=&#779347

Hopefully they won't have to cancel, who else fancies doing this one?
I think there are 4 or 5 of us going at the moment.

Alan.

Gordon, I think we need you to round up the troops if this one is to go ahead.

Myself, Michael and the Donald's are booked.

Anyone else fancy it, it is the most northern Trackday PCGB are running this year. It's also a Noisy Day.
If they don't get the numbers they will probably cancel it.

Alan.

ps has anyone else booked?

Alan,
as Croft has been confirmed Im now looking for a suitable B&B, do you know how many rooms are required?
Donald.

Alan,
can get the Balmoral Guest House Darlington, six miles from track, two single rooms and two twin rooms for £30 pp B&B. Parking for four cars so should be sufficient for us? Rooms being held meantime but have to be confirmed in the next couple of days. Can those that want rooms booked please post up or let me know ASAP. Will book the rooms Wed at latest.
Donald.

Hi Alan, sorry I didn't really get to chat at Croft - I arrived at the last minute and had wheels to change over.

I did look for you mid-afternoon but maybe you'd already left?

I was there until 5, but was out on track a lot in afternoon, either in my Boxster or as a passenger. When I wasn't on track, you were.
It was a good day and hope to do Croft again, but hope to do Oulton before end of the year.
Good to meet you,

Alan.
