differences between early and late 993

ORIGINAL: Diesel130

OK - great. Decision made. It'll be a later varioram 993 then ...

(unless I can find an early 996 with recently replaced engine!)

[;)] Now, you just have to decide on wide or narrow body, 6 speed or tiptronic, 2 or 4 wheel drive, coupe or targa, LHD or RHD, colour ... One thing I would say, there are very few manual narrow body 2wd varioram cars about so I settled for a non vario car. To be honest it came down to what was on the market at the right price.

That's the easy bit. It must be narrow body (can't afford an 'S'). Must be manual (sorry Jackson), pref 2 wheel drive (don't want complexity and loss of boot space of a 4), must be coupe, must be RHD. As for colour, prefer Iris Blue, if not then Midnight Blue or possibly silver.

[;)]Crikey - sounds like my car !!
It's not for sale tho', cos I've just spent a shedload of money on new brakes, tyres, dampers etc.

Also sounds pretty close to my car, and it is for sale! (see page 3 of members for sale bit)

C2 - manual - varioram - midnight blue - apparently quite rare.
