I like my Performance Friction 97 pads, but they wouldn't be the choice for a road car so I don't really know. I don't think greens are bad as such, just don't buy them thinking they will keep the wheels clean as they don't seem to do that any more. Rick seems to like the reds on WUF.

Bummer - I just checked my wheels after 200 miles (Greens on front, old Textar on rear) and they are all similarly dusted. My original Greens from 3-4 years ago were noticeably cleaner on the front compared with the OEM pads on the rear.
I'll keep an eye on them over the next month as they fully bed in [8|]

OEM discs are approx £87+vat each from my local OPC (but I know prices can differ between OPCs).
I have a set of Sebro discs waiting for me at Motortune ~ as Fen stated my front Zimmermanns warped with only moderate road use (I'm always very consicous of my brakes, and I don't cook them). These were replaced under warranty without quibble, but they've warped too. [] I would suspect a problem with the callipers, but they were fully refurbed when the original set of discs went on.
I've been told (by someone) that Sebro are actually the OEM manufacturer (?) ~ if this is correct then they are available via Eurocarparts for much cheaper than OPC prices.

Bert's disks are Sebro as well - or at least that's what he sent me
I wonder if part of the problem with 944 disks could be that they are a very tight fit on the hubs - took me quite a while to eliminate the runout.
If they don't go on properly, or the hubs aren't cleaned up OK, then there's much more chance of them warping.

Finally got round to a visit to Motortune today - Sebro's now on. []
Peter tells me I'm one of three customers who've had problems with the solid zimms (including JonH on his 964). All replaced under warranty, but (since he has to fit them for nowt too) he's not plannign to use them again. [:-]
On the upside..... my rear solid zimms seem fine [8|]
