Maybe its a good idea to do both, use new bolts (which come coated in thread locker) and coat the upper part of the bolt with copper grease or aluslip.
One thing that I was never happy with is the bolts are threaded all the way up to the bolt head, high tensile bolts are never threaded all the way up to improve their strength, bad design I think.
We do both agree that its a good idea to use new bolts [
