Do 944 owners post the most?

Usually not as busy as it once was, occasionally a hot topic will stir up some frantic posting - 944's on ebay with nitrous, speed control ;) etc.

I think late last year I overtook Fen briefly in the posting league - he has made up for it since [;)]

How rude! [;)]

But it could be that:-

a.) We are so rich, because we didn't waste our money on an inadequate car.

b.) We are that good at our jobs we have time to type on the forum while others try to catch up.

c.) We are that laid back that we don't care any way.

I would like to be A,B & C, but would add D:-

D) Far too astute to spend the money of a small flat on a car that's only going to worth half of that in 3 years time!!!

or, in other words:-

D) Tight.

From another topic
"Anyone who slags off another Porsche (whatever the model) should be shot, and doesn't deserve to drive in one themselves...what a complete T0553R. "

I reckon you 944 boys post the most because you're all so poor, none of you have jobs and all you do is sit behind your pc's in the library with the other dossers and post boring stuff about your boring little cars.

Now us Boxster + Cayenne owners don't post much because we are so rich that we haven't got the time to sit behing our Apple G5s running OSX Tiger to write garbage on car fora.

TO55 SIR
:)

James , good old Lancs humour .... referring to the shooting incident , that was started by me getting a mouthful of grief from a 968 owner.

And yes Im poor and Ive nothing better to do than to sit in a library and make posts on various forums. I really wish I could afford to buy a Cayenne [;)]

Yeah, I haven't checked for a few days but I was behind by a bit under 100 back then. Do some sections purge posts after a while? Mine are almost all in the 944 section.

.........That's going to require a straight 2:1 ratio of posting over me for the next 200 posts at least. Not an easy task, but certainly do-able. I seem to be making it easier by posting two answers on one post as it is.

Well, apparently, it has happened.

On the 22nd September I'd posted 2523 - I'm now exactly 200 up - well 201 including this post.

Fen was at 2308 and, 436 posts later, is now pulling away.

Well done Fen, I think. [&:]

Thanks (I think).[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]How do you get the forum stats, to see if I can see if I have a podium spot in the "no-life" stakes? I may work in IT, but it's the management therefore I don't know how to work these computer things for myself.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

I don't know. It would be a bit of a shame if it impacts on the counter as it makes the facility pretty much a nonsense. I would have thought it would hold a variable value +1, not recount all postings every time the person is displayed, but perhaps not.

It would be a bit of a shame if the count has been manipulated though.

I guess I had better get used to being behind you then. I know my place.[:D]

.......How do you get the forum stats.......

Go to home, then members, then click the arrow above posting numbers to make the list sort on numbers not members names.

.....see if I can see if I have a podium spot in the "no-life" stakes? ....

You are 3rd, but with little chance of getting higher with Mark and Helen at 2nd and 1st respectively.

I was 5th below Melv. But with this post.....

And if Mark buys a 944 then in fact the top four positions would be 944 owners, so in answer to the thread title Yes!
