Hi Everyone
For all the R8 members that have asked about a track day at Donington, Steve Brookes (964rs register) is organising a day with Bookatrack again this year.
The date is Saturday 7th July.
If you are interested, then please read further details on the 964rs forum
Cheers
Kerry

Thanks Kerry. [:)] They will be running some evening sessions there through the summer again. No doubt a few of us will go on some of those too. They're great value at less than £150 for up to 3 hours of track time. I'll give you a shout when we book anything seeing as you'll be at CLM on the July 7th date.

Hi Steve
Thanks for that.......please let me know.
We have a few keen track day R8 members so they may well be interested too
Cheers

Steve,

We would be really keen to do a 3 hour evening session at Donington. please let me know when you get the dates.

Mark & Alison

Mark, Kerry,

A couple of us have booked an evening session at Donington for Wednesday 13th June. Come along and join us or just to say hi and a passenger ride. Could be one or two more joining us when they make up their minds.

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve,

what's the deal with the evening session. Is it Porsche exclusive? How much etc etc

Hi Steve,

Not Porsche exclusive. It's a regular Bookatrack evening session. £135 per car. Three hours track time (open pitlane) from 5.30 pm. They only allow about 35 cars for an evening session so you get loads of time and plenty of space. Excellent value for money IMO.

Steve,

Many thanks for the heads-up on this. Unfortunately we are abroad for that week.

Hopefully we will manage to get to a trackday at Donington sometime this summer.

Best wishes

There are already five us (all 964s) booked on the evening session in June. Anyone who wants to come along and say hello or for passenger rides will be very welcome. [:)]

Hi Steve
Looks like several members from R8 will be at Donington both on and off track on Weds.
Thanks again for the info
Cheers
Kerry

I wanted to join you with my 944 S2 race car but it looks like it will be having a spanner check and some paint and therefore unlikely to be ready. [:(]

I had a provisional place but it's now showing full anyhow. [:(][:(]

Chris W has offered to give me a passenger ride in the 964CS so I may join him. [:)]

I'm racing at Donington on Saturday 30th June. [:D][:D]

Yes, I'd noticed that quite a few Porsches had signed up. Great news to hear that many of them are from R8. [:)]
