Donington Track Day

Great to see you again yesterday Mike. Excellent night on track for the 964 gang with a bit of friendly jousting between us [:D].

I hope all the R8 members enjoyed themselves. I've got a bit of video of me following Ian round which has a brief glimpse of Kerry in their GT3. I'll post a link when I've edited it. [:)]

Brilliant photos as usual Mike

Everyone from R8 enjoyed themselves on and off track. The Gt3 was eventually black flagged for 100db so we had to finish the day with the ever faithful Boxster.

Strange as we have previously done a whole day there (quiet day) with no noise issues.

Cheers

Kerry

I saw the boxster out while I was out on track too [:)]. There was a red GT3 gen 2 out near the end (obviously keeping the revs down)...who was that?

p.s. I've checked the diary and can't make the 6 hour weekend at Donington. I'm sure you'll find plenty of other willing 964 volunteers.

Hi Steve

After the Boxster's brakes became very faded we took out the GT3, at the end, for a few last chance runs. I managed not to see a black flag but Tom still did (guess he has more right foot than me) But it did mean we got a few last runs in.
Cheers
Kerry

[FONT=arial unicode ms"]Still undecided about using the Melbourne loop. Seem to upset the flow but suppose it lengthens the track for the amount of cars on the night, though most of which seem to disappear half way through the evening leaving some really empty laps[FONT=verdana, geneva"]
