John,

Subject to 'day off'..... would be interested but only able to confirm 4 weeks prior to event.......

I did attend R11 event there in Spring 2010 with weather similar to our current climate so will hopefully be due some sunshine in August[;)]

Good day out

Paul

Now confirmed to ' will be there' subject to this awful weather changng as it's a bit like silverstone if adverse.....
If I remember correctly, if you're approaching from A10/Royston along A505 tou have to continue past entrance up to M11, circumnavigate the roundabout to come back along A505

John, could we possibly turn this into our annual feast?

John,

Thankyou for picking up on this event, hope you don't mind an interloper from R25 joining you! Cora and I thoroughly enjoyed the recent one, there was so much to see. We basically saw most of the IWM hangers etc and ignored most of the cars on display! Lots of walking.

Chris and Cora Hazle

I'd certainly like to be there John - always an excellent venue.

The diary's clear for that date at the moment.

Jeff

Should be OK for this event - please order the 'correct' weather for open air motoring & flying[:D]

I can only request one period of sunshine at a time - currently the WOTY has priority.[;)]

This is a join Regional event and the RO Martyn Molyneaux from R11 will be attending - Many of you know Martyn is the Sunshine Man[8D] so its a money back gurantee from MM![;)][;)]

Thanks John,

How do you access discount for club membership as trying to book tickets on-line and unless I'm missing something there's no apparent concession for club membership?

In previous years and as far as I know this year.

Follow sings on the A505 for Car Club parking and this will take you to separate gate. Payment on Gate.

The signposting is very good after you come off the M11. The car club entrance is a surprising distance past the main entrance - we were starting to worry that we'd missed a signpost! Just goes to show how big Duxford is - it's a heck of a hike from the Land Warfare hangar at one end to the main entrance and history hangar at the other, so wear comfortable walking shoes!!

Just after I started this rabbit running, I found out about the Blenheim Palace do a couple of weeks later. Can't really do both, so thinking we'll probably miss Duxford in favour of Blenheim Palace (which we've never visited). Apologies - but at least the club will have a presence at Duxford, we're sure everyone will enjoy it (provided the weather behaves!).

Just jump on the little train that runs up and down from one end of the Land warfare down to the last Hanger just short of M11!
