Duxford iwm meet 09/02/2020

I did ask about a group discount deal but as far i could see it seemed to work out the same as if everyone bought their own advance tickets online ?????.

And (finally!), is there a promo code we can use when buying tickets or we just pay the usual standard rate?

TIA
Ian

ian, please see my post of a few mins ago.. regarding discount

Sorry Helen, trying to do two things at once and being a man, I failed!

Just read your post. I will buy a ticket online now. Thank you.

Lol, no problems.
It was a good question to ask. I must have read your mind and answered your question before you asked it ????

Just getting confused..

Is this a Macan meet, a Cayman meet, both or just a Porsche meet?
both, it started out as a Cayman meet but i didn’t get a lot of interest so to make it worth while (and as i have both cars) i opened it up to the Macan register who tend to be keener to use their cars all year around.

There plenty of room for all

Might need a Macan with the weather forecast! Will see how it pans out before deciding if my Cayman comes out of hibernation. :)

Weathers very bad here in Cambridge. Duxford web site still saying its open but weather forcaste is saying wind will be getting worse before it gets better.

i am seriously thinking about just heading for home (its about a 3 hour journey for me in good weather) ... thoughts ?

Hi Helen, a shame but I think that may be a good idea. I’m in Colchester (50 miles away) and thinking I might give my planned trip to Duxford a miss as well. They now predict severe gales and have stepped the warning up to Amber. Gusts in the east are already at 60 mph and predicted to rise to 80mph+ by midday, with severe travel disruption.
I’d be surprised if Duxford didn’t decide to close early today. Please stay safe.

Yup, my friend and I have baled out too. Such a shame that a racing yellow GT4 won't get a run out!

Stay safe everyone.
