As promised the details of a Midlands 964 Meet are now confirmed as:

Date: Sunday 11th May
Time: 10.30 am onwards
Place: The Wheatsheaf Inn
Brand Hill
Woodhouse Eves
Leicester
LE12 8SS

www.wheatsheafinn.net

The aim is to meet and chat about our cars in the car park (coffee should be available from the pub) and then grab a nice Sunday pub lunch [:)]. Thanks to the efforts of Rob Hounslow, the Landlord has kindly allowed us to use his premises. We've already got a dozen or so of us who post on Rennlist that have expressed interest in attending and by having it in the midlands (not far off J21 of the M1), it allows 964 owners from all directions to meet up and share their experiences of this great Porsche Marque.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]
Apologies to those that would have preferred the 25th but hopefully you can still make it.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Steve, sorry I can not, after all, make this meeting. Grandaughter sitting, however if things change I will advise.

It's just an informal meet to swap notes Ian so just come along if you can, no advance notice required [:)]

Will be happy to meet up for this and bring my mate who is new to a C4 coupe and just joined PCGB- so be gentle with him [;)] (Hope your watching Andy [:D])

IIRC Andy was looking to get one when we met at the CofG talk last year. About time too! [:D]

See you there chaps [:)]

Is anyone travelling up from down south interested in meeting up - say, J15a services on the M1 - for the trip up?? Post here if interested.

Regards

Dave

Helen, all lovers of 964s are welcome (especially ex-964 owners like yourself [;)]). We'll save a space in the middle so that Grandmother can nestle between her chicks [:D]

seems only fair after i gatecrashed a DDK meet in a 964 only a week or so ago [:D]
is the old girl back to rude health, or will you be in the apal?..

the 356 has got a borrowed engine in it. untill Andy Prill has fixed/rebuilt its own engine.

or if the weathers dry then i might give the Apal speedster a run [8D][8D]

be good to see either [:)]
glad the 356 is in a state you can use it while we're having such lovely changeable weather!

Cheers

Craig

For anyone that will be coming South via the M6, I will be at Sandbach services (southbound just after J17) for 9.30 am and will then travel across on the A500/A50. Mini convoy? [:)]

Hope to make it along, here's wishing for little sunshine![;)]

Greg & Deb Thomas PCGB members. White 964 C2 tip.

Look forward to meeting you Greg and Deb. If you're coming from the South via the M1, see Dave's note above about meeting on the way. If you're coming from the NorthWest via the M6, then we have a convoy of 5 coming down [8D]
