Easter weekend drive anyone?

Hi Erica. Sounds like a plan. Happy to meet at whatever time is best for us to do both if possible. It'll take me about 45 mins to get there.

Dan

It won’t take too long to do both... couple of hours I think...they’re reasonably near one another and the Cat and Fiddle will lead you home (ish)... do you want to meet at 10? It’ll give the snake a chance to warm up! It’s going to freeze over there tonight!

Dave, do you want to join us for a run... we could do Snake, winnats pass, Rushup edge and then to Buxton and the Cat and Fiddle? Are you still meeting your friends with Mrs Dave?

I’ll give you my number anyway Dan, so we can keep in contact.

Thanks Erica

Erica, this forum is open to non-members, I just wondered whether you realise this as you’ve posted your phone number a couple of times?

Thanks Andrew for the warning... is there another way for members to contact individual other members... if so how? Then I can remove my number...

Hi Erica/Dan,

I won't be able to join you for a drive I'm afraid. We're meeting friends in Hathersage at 12pm to grab some lunch from Colemans Deli then will either either eat in Hathersage or take the food to Ladybower Reservoir where we'll have a stroll in the fresh air before heading home.

If you see me knocking about give me a wave/flash of the lights or come up and say hello [:)]

Great day out yesterday and a big thanks to Erica for leading the way. Not too busy with bikers and the roads were relatively clear.

I think walkie talkies are a must for next time as the phone signal is a bit dodgy.

Nice one! Hathersage was really busy but we had a great lunch from Colemans Deli. Thanks also to Erica for the recommendation [:D]

Just the three splitter scrapes getting in and out of a couple of places for me, but no PADM warnings this weekend so I'll take that as a result :ROFLMAO:

You’re right, the phone signal is definitely lacking in places.... too many hills to get good reception. it was great fun, the weather was perfect.... once we cleared the mist and fog on the Snake and made it into sunny Derbyshire...and the roads were mainly clear... Shame about following the grey van all the way from Glossop though! Thanks Dan for joining me... glad you enjoyed the deli Dave.
