Ebay cars For Sale / Discussions Like or Loathe ?

not my cup of tea but the guy seems to have done a neat job on the work involved, I take my hat off to him for the job done..

Not to my taste either, but it does look like a quality job, just hope it's not superficial (those side skirts could be hiding as multitude of sins).

I was wondering that too Phil...having taken a second look there are a few areas that look odd...the front 'wing to front panel' fit looks wrong which begs the question did he use genuine Porsche parts for the conversion? The rear hatch/spoiler doesn't look like a good fit either, plus is it closed or has it been left slightly open? if you look at the rear view you can see clearly into the car along the join line. I suspect that some, if not all of the conversion parts may be fibreglass which would be a ', walk away', moment for most potential buyers, if any exist that is..

I like smooth rear bumper, cup mirrors, orange paint & seats quite nice too.....dislike, Boxster wheels, nastiest steering wheel ever, at least 8 additional embarrassing stickers....shame, not far off being quite cool.

You know when you've been Tango'd!....and not an easy colour to touch up those large chips above the n/s indicator and driving lamp. Have to assume the side skirts are hiding all sorts of nastiness, which is often the case.

Pump my Ride [:'(]

It looks awful in the pictures so I can only imagine what it is like up close... Buyer beware of those sills and the rear tailgate

Turd (noun)[/i] vulgar slang 1. a lump of excrement. 2. a person regarded as obnoxious or contemptible. ! How Apt! :ROFLMAO: R

OK chaps. I see yet another of these threads descending into the familiar round of personal abuse/off thread comments/ unpleasant language and general nonsense. If you wish to indulge then please take it elsewhere. Or play by the rules - your choice.

And this week on "Wodgers Wiview of eBay"... Please Dude, if people are that interested they will find them theirselves. You post links to scum cars, people call them scum and arguments, bad language and bad feelings follow. We really don't need it.

Rodger, Why do you keep dropping turds all over this forum? I think most people are more than capable of trawling eBay themselves if they have a desire to do so, and whilst you may think you are being a useful resource taking on this function, it is becoming annoying and irritating, which as you well know, is really in breach of forum rules.

Thanks Graham,

I didn't initially mention the "T" word! it's not come from my vocab.
