Engine mounts

You need to ensure that it really has an LSD. They exist but theyre far from common. Option M220 on the build sticker in the service book os a start, but Id want to check the transmission type number which is engraved on the transaxle, too.

I was thinking along the lines of trying to pick up a Turbo gearbox with the cooler and already installed LSD inside . Rebuilding a diff or fitting LSD diff is a skilled trade , same as engine rebuilds , not for me !! Lee I do like the look of the early 944's they do look more retro and less plasticky front end than the S2. I do like the S2 and Turbo's with a lower front splitter spoiler , each to there own look . I think all the 944's are now becoming more and more appealing as true classic's . This forum seems to be influenced towards the purist end of the 944's , and not a bad thing as they tend to fetch more money .
