European Travel advice?

Thanks Mike

I am sure i will enjoy it, a little apprehensive as i am on my own this time and first time in own car, will be fine once i get there i'm sure. Thanks for the advice for France. I am going to Strasbourg after Stuttgart, then maybe Metz and north in to Luxembourg. Most driving will be through Belgium first straight to Stuttgart for factory visit but i will be taking it easy.

Cheers,

i have upgraded insurance to fully comp for europe and full european RAC recovery so should be ok although hopefully won't need either! Good to know motorways are good. Ashamed to say i have spent more time on american highways than anything in europe but looking forward to getting going tomorrow.

Oh yeah and remember: in Germany making rude signs at other drivers when they cut you up is actually illegal. A fact that's always amused me ever since I learnt about it when living near Stuttgart (and no I didn't find out by offending ;)

Something I'm currently looking into is the new rules in Germany and their new emissions stickers, Stuttgart came into effect in March and looks to be following throughout the rest of Germany's cities.
