Exhaust again ...

Much lighter. The one that I fitted recently seemed to be as well made as the original Porsche parts that Ive bought in the past too.

I don' know if there is a depot near you, but a few years ago a couple of guys on Titanic had complete stainless systems made by http://www.longlife.co.uk/ and were very happy. I am sure they would be only too happy to cut out the cat and replace with a straight pipe. Recently they quoted me £469 for a complete 3" system from the turbocharger backwards, so they are very competitive.

Hey guys, im also intrested in a new backbox, where are the best priced places to get hold of a dansk rear section?

Longlife and the like are great for cat removals, but no way would I let a semi-trained monkey make me a full system out of 15 pieces of pipe he happens to have, all gobbed together with who would know what standard if welding, if I wanted an exhaust to perform well.

Chaps,

Thanks ... just checked the longlife website and their nearest branch to me is in Hayes - which is the other side of London (and somewhere I try to avoid going!)

I'll see if I can find somewhere more local .... anyone know somewhere good for small bits of exhaust welding in East London/Essex/North Kent?

Oli.
