F1 Testing at Silverstone

Surely £10 is better than paying £100 or there abouts for the official testing, yes im miffed they are to start charging but for a full day of free testing its a good day out even at that price.
I will be there again as much as i can camera in hand [:)]

Surely £10 is better than paying £100 or there abouts for the official testing......

I am embarrassed to say that I don't know the difference between what we saw and "official testing". If what we saw is anything like official testing it certainly isn't worth £100. I'm not even willing to pay £10 for it.

However, if someone was to arrange a group price for £5 I could be swayed, perhaps, as it is an opportunity to deploy my white lens again. [:)] Failing that, I'm united with brother Tony in boycotting what is another blatant demonstration of capitalism and greed on the part of F1 and the motor circuits.

Ideally, if sufficiently small numbers go, it will cost them more to print and manage ticket sales than they get back....and it will go back to being free again.

the free testing (ex free now) was the testing of cars running as they wish from 0900 till 1700, no the pre race test timed sessions, you dont know who will be there or what team, you takes your chance on the day, although ive had some responses by emails to silverstone and they normally have given an idea who will be there
There are numerous days testing throughout the year although this years calender isnt upto date on the site

See some of my F1 pics on the pbase link below from the test sessions last year
