I like the mods you've done. Looks very familiar to me! This is my engine bay. The Green filter does work pretty well and sounds awesome under load. I like scaring little kids when I boot the throttle, it makes a slight chinking sound when you give the throttle a quick prod. Nice!!!

Following a suggestion from Jon Mitchell, (he keeps cropping up lately) I've made some clear indicator lenses from acrylic prismatic sheet. These simply fit over the existing lenses and were a doddle to fit once I'd cut and shaped them to the correct size. I was very sceptical that they would look OK but they really do. Total cost was about ÂŁ40 but this was only because I had to buy a sheet big enough to re-glaze Buckingham palace.

Very inventive Chris.

I wonder if you would get an even better finish if you simply cut away the front face of the orange indicator and then plastic welded the clear sheeting over the orange backplate left behind.

New OEM lenses are about a tenner and even cheaper SH if anyone wanted to experiment (especially as Chris has enough clear for Buckingham Palace [:D] )

I've got to go with my alloy anodised silver door lock buttons. Being one of those compulsive people who know damn well they've locked their car but just have to check after walking 20 metres down the road these silver dool lock buttons can easily be seen from a good distance therefore saving me the embarassing walk back to the car.

How very underhanded of you. I might have to reinstate your post and bid on the item, even though I don't want it, just to put the price up. :ROFLMAO: Only kidding.

I was assuming that Fen had bought everything there was to buy for his car but then this came along. [8D]

I'm assuming you just remove the brakes to make room for the wastegate. [:D]

Is there no limit to how much you could spend on a 951? [8|]

Hey! Who's been taking pictures of my new engine in Jon Mitchells workshop [;)]

I see he's sprayed the cam cover the wrong shade of blue [8|]

Well that IS identical to my wastegate. Not sure how it fouls the brakes[&:]. Might have to do something a bit special with the intake manifold though...
