All mags are biased towards their advertisers and new product releases but that post did make me laugh [:D] Here's a link to the mag http://www.gtpurelyporsche.com/thismonth.asp

That is a shame!...On the positive side, im still looking forward to seeing my car in print[:)]

Can't see any review on RS964 in the mag. But there is a comparison planned for Feb 2010 edition on a comparison between the 964RS LWT and a 993RS. Rhe 64 is Monkey Bum Red and the 993 is Black. Both SCoM cars I think. Is this the article you were waiting on?

Flicked through it in WHSmith's yesterday. Photos looked good but decided not to buy it as; a] I've just signed up for that Total911 deal where you get the next 3 issues for a quid and b] I'm obviously a tight g*t [:D]

Even at their bargain offer thats expensive unless they ve finally learnt something ..........sorry IMO wealest of them all!

I can cancel the DD after the 3rd issue if it's not up to scratch before the normal subscription kicks in. [;)] What do you think is the best mag to subscribe to Vic? Porsche mag suggestions only please! [:D]

Martin - did you buy the car? As SCOM have just put it up for sale in the last couple of hours here.... LINK DELETED - glad to help Martin[;)]

Cut the man some slack, Jason. His BTR Cabriolet, featured in one of Clarkson's videos, was stolen last year whilst on holiday. Martin bought the RS and John from SCoM delivered it on December 10th to him: the car is awaiting the Dutch MOT and importation. The man is merely looking for a magazine article that features his new pride and joy and is not widely avsilable in Holland. Best regards, Bert

Sorry not been paying attention .................i found myself spending far too much on mags! IMO Porsche 911 world comes out best over a year, piccies in GT Purely puerile are still great ,content very thin , had a good patch.....passed...........comment on other Mag based on poor articles ,equally poor pictiures and very little i ve found appealing ..............highly amused by one article i thought i d buy it for, especially when the photos focussed in close up on the poor guys hugely expensive , poorly repaired very wide wheel ! Cud say lack of finesse? Really like Excellence , and Flat six also Rs Magazine ...........looking fwd to better weather so less reading more driving ! Getting very old ,so not a moment to loose..............................
