Mist, fog, drizzle, salt spray, snow and sunshine, on perfect Mini GP roads!
All hail to the Porsche!
Respect to our leader and Mr Toyo.
Gungho's only comment was "glad I dinnae hae ma breakfast before the run"
breakfast/brunch plus all the usual chat. Couple of pics of the day, not great but gives you an idea.
Cheers Al
Was a great day out Brian, Wasnt as cold as the pics looked. Just a pity with the Fog/mist etc then running
into the Snow/slush on the Devils Beeftub road and Obviouly all that Bl..dy Salt on the roads there.
All washed away now, Lucky having a Hot Washer at work
Thats Hot as in Hot Water )
Cheers Al

I came along and really didn't know what to expect. Only joined the club less than a month ago but wanted to get involved as soon as possible Turned up at Dakota and saw a few cars already parked up then nearly wrecked by back end reversing into a space but looking at the parked cars instead of my rear view. Thankfully lamppost avoided at the last second though!
Even with the weather being typical of a Scottish Feb morning the better half was still keen to come along and even though the only girl along for the journey she loved every minute. Only a couple of times did she feel queasy and complain at the lack of Jesus handles inside the car for her to grab on to
I didn't want to turn up with my camera gear to take photos as I'm the newbie but after seeing a post today asking if anyone got some I'm more than happy to do so at the next event I attend. I run a part time photography and media business so it wouldn't be any trouble at all - and sure beats the tiny pics I got on my iPhone while parked up mid drive.
Thanks to everyone for their hospitality, you made the new guy feel very welcome and the drive was a great experience showing me a little of what my cars capable of and giving me more confidence in her abilities.
Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks,
Rikki
