Female Petrol Head Reviews Porsche

I 'll send you the engine etc rob. Then your car will be complete but you have to send me your shell to complete mine. Oh! hang on that won't work. Right you send me a shell and I will send the engine..Oh no! that's the same again. Help please?

We could sling the engine in my S and just pretend it isn't as rusty as it is. It passed an MOT like that anyway!

You'd then have to ignore the seized brakes and the fact the alarm goes of every time you so much as move in the seat. When I find that thing it's going to pay I tells ya!

That worked fine on the siren but some sneaky little fella has gone and hidden the control box away somewhere so the car just flashes its hazards constantly making it look like it's broken down all the time.

Oh yeah, it has.

You're becoming an instant heart throb for all the poor fellows in here.
Nothing like feeling total approval. [:)]

Nice to see a girl thats interested in cars half decent looking and dosent chew tobacco [:D]

He he thanks for the comments, you've made me smile.

I've made copper brake pipes with my Dad for two previous cars, it's quite satisfying but a bit upsetting that they'll probably last longer than the car in some cases! I find cutting and bending pipes quite fascinating!! I am an Engineer's daughter though [:)]

Only half decent?? That's cruel and untrue. I think Rebecca better come down to Sydney where she would be properly appreciated! [;)]

Ah thank you. It would be a lot warmer as well.

Yes A back to back comparative review of a Lux, S, S2 and Turbo would be. I will need help in sourcing the show cars though! It would be nice to say here's my collection and unveil the whole lot but sadly I cannot!

Hi Rebecca,
Just watched your 911 video you really need to try an 944 S2 cab, turbo version even better!
never had a cab or Porsche before now sold on both, top down, foot down on a sunny day - perfect!
Mines Cobalt Blue a nice colour that changes with the light!

Anything chocolate will do, frogs or not!

Cool! Yes I would gladly review a 944 - esp a turbo cab sounds lovely, do you have a picture of your car? I have quite a list of cars that I want to get my hands on now! If anyone is offering I am ARDS qualified with plenty of mechanical sympathy!

Chocolate anything - with you on that, just ate a choc rose left over from Valentine's!! Yummy [;)]

Best bit (car related) about the vid? The capture of the flat 6 growl...luuuurvely and it got me hankering back for my old 3.2 Carrera. Not Best bit? Again, sound related. Delivering lines whilst walking on crunchy gravel! Quite off-putting. Like listening to someone talking with their mouth full! But it's a great idea for selling cars. I remember when 911 Virgin started putting multiple high quality photo's of their cars on their website 10 years ago. Made it a magnetic site to go to for Porsche buying. So a sales website that links to little vids like thius is a great idea.....I presume that's the plan? If not, 10% royalty please!!!
Tighten up on the editing and its a winner!

Yes I passed my ARDS woo hoo!! I recommend it to anyone even if you just do track days, I think it gives you an extra sense on the track that makes you more aware of everything going on. It was not hard but you do have to know your flags perfectly and the difference between them being waived and stationary.

Next car, hmm well I have an Evo VIII which is waiting for a non rainy day and a certain beautiful 4S that is being treated to a rather special deep polish day this Saturday...[;)] can't wait!

Blease, thank you for the feedback. I plan to improve sound quality in time, this is fairly embryonic in the stages so a good next step will be the HD camera I have my sights on. Yes the Flat 6 growl definitely deserves some volume UP [:D]
