At last.

Really pleased. These are the photo's in the OPC.

Arrived home too dark for more.

Seems more torquey compared to my Gen1 Turbo but that might be because I've been Porcheless for a few months.

Great looking car Once you've driven it for a while do post and give us your view of the differences between Gen1 and Gen 2

Thanks, yes I'll do that. Thanks, Greg

ORIGINAL: Aldo Stunning, just stunning. What a beauty. You are going to have a great summer :)
I'll second that, fantastic! Isn't it great picking up a new car [:)] ....eventually! Cheers

Very nice indeed. Be interested in the driving impressions of the new Turbo - and the weather from Sunday looks good for a few days. There must be a lot of people who were eagerly awaiting their new cars on 1st Jan, who have had a frustrating two weeks[] WRT the wheels, I think the new lwt centre lock Spyder wheels look superb, and appear to be less vulnerable to kerbing. However, for anyone who has gone with the standard wheels, there could be the option to fit the 'Fuchs' Sport Classic wheels if/when they become available (expensive though[8|]) and subsidise the cost by selling the standard Gen 2 turbo wheels to someone who may wish to update their Gen 1 Turbo.

Yep, we love the pictures [8D] (anyone who doesn't can click the option not to download them in your profile [;)]) Looks stunning [:D] and certainly a lot cleaner than mine at the moment!! Like others, be interesting to hear your opinions once your got to get out and play... garyw

beautiful. as a resent convert to the 997 and a Gen 1 owner i'd be very interested in knowing how you like this car comppared to your last.

Wow!! looking at thoes low profiles watch out for the potholes! but I guess they are wide enough to bridge a crevasse. A lovely car enjoy. John

Looks stunning Greg, our OPC at Guildford has a demonstrator in this colour and looks the biz. Be v. careful with those rims though, theirs had already been kerbed[]

ORIGINAL: azure111s That'll be Brizzle OPC then!
Yes, Dick Lovett Bristol. I find them good. Peter, thanks for advice on kerbing. I'd better pay extra attention. There's nasty pot holes around too after that 20 year gap in the weather. Thanks, Greg

Looks great, Greg, enjoy! Sport chrono, Adaptive Sports Seat, ALuminium Mirror arms, Delete Rear Wiper and... Floor Mats! What else? [Edit: front spoiler, side skirts as well....]
