Finally Got To Hoon Around

I agree entirely-after a fantastic 964 register day at Curborough last Saturday in the 964 including the 250 mile round trip from Formby-our 924S will still bring a smile to my face for the many reasons quoted above-it would have gone there & back in a more relaxed way-using less fuel-just as quickly and feel safer ,faster on the bends & roundabouts.

This could be a bargain...

....for only just more than the price of a full front engine service & waterpump [:D]

I keep glancing at that ad and wondering if I shouldn't give take a punt on it or one like it. I followed a 924S part way round Frontrunners last year and was really impressed with the way it went and how it tackled the twisty bits.

£800 ??? You couldn't really go wrong could you ?

Might I just care to add here that the gun sight style view down the nose when driving with the lights up at night/dusk is one of those things I miss most being without one at the moment.

Surely your bonnet scoop got in the way of your gunsight :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Which reminds me, whatever happeed to the fellow that bought a 944 with a metal doggy mascot riveted to the front of the bonnet? Are you still here?

There's a tidy e46 m3 I see about sometimes up here, the plate is m3 fox and there is a metal fox riveted to the bonnet behind the BMW badge. I don't know, the country set, more money than sense! Although I'd love to be a fly on the wall when the lady owner tries to part ex it!
