Is that a phone aerial above the windscreen? Colour is certainly a rare one I think. Not a fan myself but it does stand out! :)

Nice pic Dodgy [:)] I've only seen one other in that colour and that's the Cabrio that kept coming over from Portugal for our annual Frontrunner event.

Velvet red is a very nice colour (perhaps the only variant of red I can stand on a car) and, although nice, the picture doesn't actually do it justice. When the car is washed and the picture is taken under shining skies it's absolutely stunning. In my humble opinion anyway. Please take another picture and grant us with it when the sun will be back [:)]

Blimey I saw one that looked just like this recently but it was much filthier. Doubt it was yours as I'm down in Devon.

tanks for the comments, the reason that i bought this was because i havnt seen the colour before . I think that the ariel on the roof is from a mobile because i have the normal holes in the center console and in the door cards which i am trying to replace (linen if anyone can help). She is being valeted next week as i am going up to leeds and doncaster for the weekend so if the weather is nice i will take some better pictures and try to post them again .

Yes I'm sure it is for sale, I've been thinking about it for about 5 or 6 months now to be honest. My Mother doesn't want me to sell it, but I've been getting a little bored with it of late, so I have been spending money on it in the theory that making it into a really good 944 would work and I would regain my interest in it but sadly it hasn't. I know I'll probably miss it but I want to get another car, quite likely another Porsche possibly of the 911 variety. I have an idea of what I want but it'll involve a lot of hard saving though. I think I might have priced for too little though.

I was thinking that you had pitched it too low TBH, as, despite the mileage, the new cams and all of the bodywork etc justifies a higher price IMHO - I know the market isn't exactly boyant, but compared to some of the rough examples around for similar money, yours looks a great buy by comparison. Good luck!

Take the suspension and mirrors off and I'll buy them from you, [;)].

I was thinking the mileage would put people off and so to encourage them I've put it in for quite low as I want to shift it reasonably quickly. Pauly I'll swap the mirrors and suspension for your turbo[:D] I think I might have found what I would like if I can save enough for it and with the market how it is, hopefully it has still got a bit more to fall in price.

Jon Knowing how much you have spent on the car, and the amount of work and care you have put into getting it looking as good as it does, I also agree that I think you have undersold it with the asking price. I appreciate you are looking for a quick sale, but someone is going to get a bargain !! Perhaps you should also add the car to the members for sale section, and mention it in the R15 forum as a local buyer may be out there just waiting for a 944 as nice as this. Best of luck Tony
