Fish and Chip run 2021. Please note that the Wednesday run is now full. Sunday run has one space left. If there are more members interested in these event then we can organise another midweek run. Subject to the Covid 19 guidelines being relaxed in May we propose to organise the 2021 FISH AND CHIP RUN.There will be two events, of 15 cars each, on Wednesday the 19th of May and Sunday the 23rd May.
We will be starting from the Motorist at Sherburn in Elmet. LS256JE.
Both runs will start with a meeting at the Motorist at 10:00. The Blue Train Café will be open for catering.
We aim to depart at 11:00.
There will be two routes of approx. 100 miles each with suggested mid stops for refreshments.
The first run on Wednesday the 19th will be the first day that the Blue Train Café will have been fully opened so expect lots of pictures.
The second run on the Sunday will be part of the Motorists "Cars and Coffee" shows and will require and entrance fee of £5:00 per car which we will have been pre paid and we will collect from entrants on arrival. Part of this fee will go towards the Yorkshire air Ambulance charity.
UPDATE:- We now have secured dedicated parking at the Co-op in Whitby for both dates. This will be £5 per car for the Co-op's current charity MIND.
Due to current circumstances we do not propose to organise restaurants this time.
Will all entrants please list the following details either on the forum or by private email to myself as I have to have all the information for the risk assessment and contact tracing:
1. Full Name's of drivers and Navigator and any passengers,
2. Porsche Club membership number.
3. Car model and colour.
4. Car Registration number
5. Mobile telephone number.
If these events are oversubscribed then we will look to getting some more up and running. The Motorist staff are extremely keen to make these events successful and are looking forward to seeing us all there.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT SOME COVID RESTRICTIONS WILL STILL BE IN FORCE.
