Folding wing mirror problem

Hi all

I wondered if anyone had seen this slightly strange issue before. About one time in every two now when starting the engine the driver wing mirror retracts properly but the passenger one stays in park position.


When I press the retract button twice from inside the cabin then the passenger side mirror goes back out normally.

This seems to have only started recently - but strange it is just one mirror and strange that it goes back when pressing the mirror button inside the car.

Anybody seen this or got any idea what it might be?

Any help gratefully appreciated!
